Dammuso Fico d’India

Dammuso Fico d’India (Prickly Pear) is located in a dominant position, with a splendid sea view. It can be reached only on foot following a 60 steps path surrounded by small orchards and cactus gardens.

It consists of a large bedroom with alcove, a large living room, a bathroom with shower, kitchen and dining area which is partially outdoors, covered by a reed matted roof, panoramic balcony with chaise-lounges and a garden with barbecue.

This dammuso has electricity, but can also be experienced by candlelight and oil lamps.

For bathing and cooking, rainwater is collected from the roof and than directed to an underground well.
