Dammuso Gelsomino

Oriented to the west, Dammuso Gelsomino (Jasmine) is the smallest among the four dammusos.
It consists of a double bedroom, a toilet with external entrance, an open air kitchen under a cane roof, and a small pantry with fridge.
Jasmine is the dammuso in the highest position. It can be reached only on foot by a sixty step path among palms and cactuses.

Rain water is collected from the roof and goes into a well. Water supply is directly managed by guests with a hand-pump.
Heated by the sun, water goes down from the tank to taps. It takes around ten minutes every day to recharge the tank.
The dammuso has electricity, but it is necessary to take along a torch because the path to the house is not illuminated during night time.
Furniture is basic and the kitchen is equipped.
