Dammuso Fico d’India

Dammuso Fico d’India (Prickly Pear) is located in a dominant position, with a splendid sea view. It can be reached only on foot following a 60 steps path surrounded by small orchards and cactus gardens.

It consists of a large bedroom with alcove, a large living room, a bathroom with shower, kitchen and dining area which is partially outdoors, covered by a reed matted roof, panoramic balcony with chaise-lounges and a garden with barbecue.
It can accommodate up to six persons.

This dammuso has electricity, but can also be experienced by candlelight and oil lamps. It is necessary to carry a torch since the path to the house is not illuminated during the night.

For bathing and cooking, rainwater is collected from the roof and than directed to an underground well; attention to water saving is recommended.
